Knee Length Quatro Gumboot
Following a personal recommendation , Skellerup approached my team to design the aesthetics for a new range of agri-professional gumboots.
The new designs were based on a rigorous customer research programme, which uncovered a strong preference for seriously functional and comfortable footwear. When launched, sales exceeded predictions and many sizes went out of stock.
The design has gained a prestigious Good Design Award from the USA and a New Zealand BeST design award.
Role: Senior Industrial Designer.
Tasks: Customer research, brand benchmarking, aesthetic positioning, concept development, and presentation renderings.
